these were my choices: FX35, BMWX5 3.0, PathfinderLE, Benz ML350, all being 06 models this is how we rated them.
Looks we both agreed on,

Pathfinder The FX drove like a 350Z with similar front cabin space, I loved it but my wife didn't feel safe in it and at 5'1 she still banged her head getting in and out of the driver's side, so that didn't go well specially since she suffers from vertigo. lots of blind spots. but the ride was great, so I plan on getting one soon. BMW felt OK 3.0 was underpowered and the controls were a bit chusterfuck so you tend to take your eyes off the road when driving.
Murano has some nice pick-up, felt like a Maxima, I just installed a Pop-Charger in it, my wife doesn't know yet. Plenty of room for long trips and compared to the others in price you can get it fully loaded and still be cheaper than the rest.
Benz felt too top heavy around corners underpowered and the Pathfinder was just a tank, it has more tuck feel than the model before, my 03 X-Terra SC drives better.
